French Classical music lecture recital by Dr David Ponsford. David is a scholar, performer and teacher with a wealth of knowledge especially on the 17th and 18th centuary. He has made many highly acclaimed recordings and written a book about French Organ Music in the Reign of Louis XIV. David is committed to continuing to perform, research and teach in order to bring a greater understanding of the music to as wide an audience as possible. The afternoon will be well illusttrated and an informative opportunity to learn more about this genre of organ music.
